Peak Health Coaching has developed its own Tailored Health Coaching approach, based on many years of experience of patients’ personal success stories and follows an intuitive path towards behaviour change.

Our Tailored Health Coaching Training encompasses a range of coaching models and approaches together with the concept of activation to ensure that participants leave with a practical approach they can use with their very next patient or client.

Who should attend?

Anyone who is considering applying for, or already in, a post as a Health and Well-Being Coach in a health, social or community care setting. This is also suitable for some Social Prescribing Link Workers or other roles, where coaching is a significant part of their work.

Participants must have attended or booked to attend our Module 1 course before attending

Description

By the end of the 4-day course you will have been trained to Level 3 in Health and Well-being Coaching, the highest level of the NHS Personalised Care Institute (PCI) Curriculum. You will receive Level 1 accreditation and certification of the PCI Curriculum on completion of the 4-day programme and this is included in the price. We are also delighted to offer accreditation to level 2/3 accreditation for an additional fee. Participants will receive a further 12-months of ongoing support to enable you to complete your practice requirements for summative assessment and certification. This will include logging and reflecting on your health coaching sessions with clients. You will have access to regular opportunities to interact with peers and experienced health coaching supervisors to reflect on practice and ensure your success.

This core Health Coaching training is ideal for anyone working in the Health, Social or Community care and want to use coaching skills alongside and within their usual role. Participants wishing to progress on to days 3 and 4 (module 2) of the accredited 4-day programme can do so by simply adding this module into their basket before proceeding to checkout.

In addition to our decades of clinical experience in the NHS, we have provided training in Person-Centred Care and Health coaching since 2017 and PCI-accredited training since 2021. We have brought this experience and the same educational rigour to our Health Coach Supervisor Training Programme. This programme ensures that health coaches and others in personalised care roles, feel supported, can develop their skills and feel confident to make their unique contribution.
