Health Coaching Pathway Courses

At Peak Health Coaching, our Peak Pathway offers a clear, modular route into health and wellbeing coaching, whatever your starting point.

Our PCI-accredited 2-day Foundation Certificate is ideal for anyone wanting to bring a coaching approach into their existing role, and can be extended to our full 4-day Intermediate Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Coaching, the baseline training for anyone working as a Health and Wellbeing Coach in the NHS in England.

On completing the 4 days, participants can enrol on our Practitioner I Certificate at no additional cost (in 2026), building confidence through logged coaching practice and reflection. For those looking to move into private practice, we recommend continuing to at least our Practitioner II Certificate, which incorporates the RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Health Coaching, regulated by Ofqual, and allows you to gain valuable coaching practice hours verified by our experienced team alongside your portfolio of work.

At the top of the pathway sits our Senior Practitioner Diploma in Health & Wellbeing Coaching, launching soon. All of our courses are delivered live online via Zoom by an expert team, including GPs and qualified health coaches, who bring the training to life with authentic examples from practice.

Foundation Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Coaching (PCI-Accredited 2-Day Course)

2-day training course

This core Health Coaching training is ideal for anyone who wants to use coaching skills alongside and within their usual role. This is a stand-alone accredited and practical course that will enable participants to apply a health coaching approach from the end of Day 1 of the course. It also offers the perfect stepping stone to our Intermediate Certificate in Health Coaching. No prior experience is necessary.

Practitioner I Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Coaching

Up to 6 months

This stand-alone course follows successful completion of our Intermediate Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Coaching (or a PCI-accredited 4 day-course via another provider). To achieve Practitioner I status, you will need to log 50 hours of health and wellbeing coaching and complete our Peak Health Coaching Practitioner I portfolio, gathering valuable feedback from peers and gaining verification of your knowledge and understanding of key health coaching concepts and skills.

Practitioner II Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Coaching - Induction Session

6 to 12 months self-paced

£940.00 excl. VAT

Following completion of the Practitioner I Certificate, participants can add on this 9 - 12 month learning module. Cohorts are offered quarterly and begins with a compulsory introductory session followed by monthly tutor-led sessions to support you in completing your practical and written requirements for summative assessment and certification. All course participants have access to extensive online learning resources to support their development and portfolio submission.

Following completion of the Senior Practitioner Diploma in Health & Wellbeing Coaching, participants can add on this 9 - 12 month module to achieve Advanced Master Practitioner status.
